Nookspan organizes rental listings locally without building a central database of Facebook posts or profiles.
What stays on your device
Property details you choose to load, approximate locations, image URLs, source-post links, favorites, and saved groups are kept in extension-owned browser storage. The extension automatically removes saved listing records after 30 days.
What we do not collect
We do not collect Facebook cookies, Facebook access tokens, browsing history, profile IDs, author profiles, group membership credentials, your searches, or your shortlist. The extension has no Nookspan listing backend.
When the extension reads a page
Nookspan loads on Facebook so it can detect navigation into a group without a page refresh. In groups, it recognizes supported Marketplace-linked property posts and their engagement. Opening the map automatically loads photos and full details through your existing Facebook session. You can cancel or retry loading. Session credentials and raw responses stay inside the Facebook page; only normalized property details and engagement counts reach extension storage. No listing tabs are opened.
Website and payments
The interactive preview uses sample listings. There is no Nookspan account. If you buy a pass, Stripe handles checkout and payment information. Nookspan sends a random installation identifier and a verification secret to its own payment endpoint over HTTPS; Stripe receives a hash identifying that installation, the product and payment details. No Facebook listings, group IDs, searches or favorites are included. Payment records are retained by Stripe according to the merchant’s payment and record-keeping obligations.
Connecting your pass
The website can check the extension version and plan, start checkout, activate a verified payment, and open your saved-groups page. It cannot read your saved listings. The extension checks for pending payments and periodically revalidates an active pass, including whether the payment was refunded. A signed pass can work offline for up to 48 hours after verification, within its 30-day duration.
Images, maps and hosting
Facebook serves listing images; OpenStreetMap serves map tiles. These providers receive normal network information, including your IP address. The website uses Unsplash photos for its sample listings. Website and payment requests also pass through our hosting provider. We do not add advertising trackers or behavioral analytics.
